It was summer over Copenhagen and me and my friend Thomas Larsen went around the town to shoot photos when we walked by a place where you could get a helicopter ride above the town. Since it was summer we convinced the pilot to fly us over the beach called "Amager Strand", while we were shooting photos. Thomas and I have bigger cameras than can fit in a pocket so the pilot and her assistance took the doors off the tiny helicopter so it would be easier to move around and get better shots.
We climbed into the aircraft, that reminded me of a small car with a windgenerator on the roof, put on the headset with intercom and up we went. We flew at 500 metres altitude and went down to around 300 metres when we arrived above the beach.
It was not cheap at all and it was only around 10 minutes but it was a good experience and the photos turned out to be good.
