I bought this sailboat in Florida and lived on her from 2007 to 2012. I sailed around the Caribbean and crossed the Atlantic Ocean with her. She is a Stilson 44' Sloop from 1974. This is all about her.
As of October 2017 she has a new captain, Kasper from Denmark who will take Solitude back to the Caribbean and beyond...
As of May 2021 Solitude was demasted just before the Azores on yet another crossing of the Atlantic Ocean, coming from Caribbean. Kasper sold the boat to a couple in the Azores who wanted to refit a mast on Solitude and get her back on the high seas.
